Kansas City Board Of Trade Reminder - Expiring Month Price Limits - Rule Change That Removed Expiring Contract Price Limits Applies For First Time Feb. 28

The Board of Directors, at a regular meeting Dec. 18, 2007 approved amendments to the KCBT rules pertaining to daily price limits in the hard red winter wheat futures contract. The board removed the expiring contract month daily price limit beginning the second business day preceding the first day of the delivery month.

The rule change, which was approved by the Commodity Futures Trading Commision, is effective with the March 2008 contract month. The first business day in which the rule amendments would be practically applicable will be Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 (the second business day preceding the first delivery day for the March 2008 wheat futures contract).
