InvestCloud LLC, a technology company that delivers securities technology and services from the cloud, has started the countdown to the first million dollar payout for virtual securities trading with the launch of their PlayMyMillions game, www.playmymillions.com.
The game, which will go live on September 22nd, is an interactive investment game allowing players to test strategies and methods across 35 of the world’s stock exchanges. Players will be ranked and prizes distributed on a weekly and monthly basis, with the ultimate $1Million prize awarded at the end of the 9month play period.
The game is designed for a broad audience, from first-time investors to seasoned securities professionals. Upon sign-up to PlayMyMillions.com, each player will receive a virtual cash pile of $1Million, providing a no-risk environment to pick stocks, strategies and construct portfolios using real market data from international stock exchanges. The game assesses player’s skills by reference to the risk-adjusted rate of return – allowing for scores across player levels that are comparative and competitive. Best scores win – no matter your background or ‘real world’ expertise.
The game, available for signup now with the launch of www.playmymillions.com, will be accessible through Facebook in November and as an app on the iPhone and Blackberry by December.
Equally as impressive as the $1Million pay out is the innovative cloud platform from which the game is constructed.

The official launch of the PlayMyMillions countdown site is Tuesday September 14th, 2010 at 8:00 ET (New York) – 13:00 BST (London) and the official game, PlayMyMillions, will be launched on Wednesday September 22nd , 2010 at 8:00 ET (New York) – 13:00 BST (London).
