Japan Exchange Group/Tokyo Stock Exchange, in collaboration with Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), successfully hosted the Japan–Southeast Asia Market Forum 2025 in Singapore.
Launched in 2022, the Forum aims to showcase the current landscape of Japan’s economy and markets to overseas companies and investors. Now recognized as one of Asia’s leading information platforms, it brings together key figures from across the region’s economic and financial sectors.
Marking its fourth instalment, this year’s Forum featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking sessions around major themes shaping the global and regional landscape: the globalization of financial markets, capital mobility, corporate governance reforms, initiatives to support startups and innovation, and the future of the international order amid increasingly complex geopolitical dynamics.
The event welcomed a record number of participants, with over 500 attendees and more than 750 registrations. Participants expressed that the Forum deepened their understanding of the global economic outlook, structural changes in Japanese society, and medium- to long-term market trends. Many also highlighted the high value of the networking opportunities and voiced growing expectations for enhanced collaboration between Japan and Asia.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and partner institutions for their generous support. We hope this Forum will continue to contribute to strengthening economic and financial ties between Japan and the greater Asian region.
