Japan's Financial Services Agency: The Second Yangon Stock Exchange Expo Keynote Speech By State Minister Ochi

On September 9th, State Minister Mr. Takao Ochi gave the keynote speech on Japan’s support for the development of Myanmar’s capital market at the Second YSX EXPO organized by Yangon Stock Exchange.
Japan has provided a seamless and continuous support to the Myanmar’s capital market. The collaborative effort by Financial Services Agency, Daiwa Securities Group Inc., and Japan Exchange group Inc. contributed to the establishment of Yangon Stock Exchange in December 2015.
Japan will continue and strengthen its support for the development of YSX as “the Symbol of Japan-Myanmar Friendship” based on Myanmar Capital Market Activation Support Plan “LIST (Listing + Investment Strategy and Timeline) for Myanmar’s Future(Myanmar LIST)”, thereby contribute to further activation of Myanmar’s capital market in tandem with the Myanmar government.
