Japan’s Financial Services Agency Publishes English Translations Of The Banking Act, The Financial Instruments And The Exchange Act, And The Insurance Business Act.

The Financial Services Agency (FSA) has been engaged in the efforts to translate major relevant Acts into English. In this context, FSA today published English translations of the Banking Act, the Financial Instruments and the Exchange Act, and the Insurance Business Act.

These are unofficial translations. Only the original Japanese text of laws and regulations have legal effect. The translations are to be used solely as reference material to aid in the understanding of Japanese laws and regulations.
