Japan Exchange Group released Trading Overview in October 2015.

Cash Equity Market

- In October 2015, the daily average trading value for the TSE 1st Section reached JPY 2.6814 trillion, exceeding JPY 2.5 trillion for the thirteenth consecutive month since October 2014.
- In the ETF market, monthly trading value was JPY 5.2000 trillion, exceeding JPY 5 trillion for the fifth consecutive month.

Derivatives Market

- In October 2015, total derivatives trading volume was 26,128,964 contracts, with a daily average of 1,244,236 contracts.
- Total derivatives trading value was JPY 163 trillion. Trading value for equity index derivatives reached JPY 87 trillion.
- Trading volume for the night session was 9,512,253 contracts, and the ratio of the night session was 36.4%, exceeding 30% for the sixth consecutive month.
