“I would like to welcome Jeff Tessler to ISE’s Boards,” said Gary Katz, President and Chief Executive Officer of ISE Holdings. “Having known and worked with Jeff for many years in his previous role at Deutsche Börse, I look forward to even closer alignment now that ISE has become part of his division within the Group.”

Added Mr. Katz, “Additionally, on behalf of the entire Board, I would like to thank Hauke Stars for her many contributions and to wish her well as she moves on to new responsibilities within Deutsche Börse.”

“I look forward to working more closely with my colleagues from ISE, both in my capacity as a Board member and also now that ISE is part of the Clients, Products and Core Markets division,” said Mr. Tessler. “Our goal is to use the scale of our US presence within the division to increase customer proximity in this market, and ISE will play an important role in carrying out that objective.”

Mr. Tessler has served on the Executive Board of Deutsche Börse AG since October 2004 and is Chairman of Clearstream. Effective January 1, 2016, Mr. Tessler assumed responsibility for the Clients, Products and Core Markets division which combines Deutsche Börse’s derivatives trading business, including ISE, and clearing and custody business. This division will also coordinate Group-wide product development and global sales activities.

Mr. Tessler joined Deutsche Börse following a twenty-five year career with The Bank of New York Company Inc., where he held a number of key management positions. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of New Jersey and a Master’s Degree from Seton Hall University.
