A new online application process for all unlisted ISIN commences on Monday 29 June 2015. It will operate via the ISE’s online portal www.isedirect.ie.
Key changes
- Online application for ISINs - you will only be able to submit applications for ISINs online via www.isedirect.ie from 29 June. The existing email service isinrequests@ise.ie will operate until 26June but will no longer be in service for new ISIN applications post this date.
- Payment - you will be invoiced at the time of application. You can make arrangements to pay as you go online via Realex or Paypal or set up a prepaid account with us. More details are in the FAQs.
How to prepare
- Register via www.isedirect.ie– it is a simple process which should take you less than 5 minutes. If you are already registered on ISEdirect for other services, there is no need to register again.
- Set up an account with Realex, Paypal or a prepaid account with the ISE so that you are ready to submit applications from 29 June 2015. Please email our Finance Department finance@ise.ie as soon as possible if you are interested in the prepaid option as this can take up to 2 weeks to set up. More detail in the FAQs.
- Let your customers know of the change so that they can prepare.

The ISE is the National Numbering Agency for ISINs (International Security Identification Numbers) in Ireland. The ISIN standard provides a uniform structure for a number that uniquely identifies securities. The ISE is a member of the Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA).
