Grupo Financiero Santander México, the second-largest financial services holding company in Mexico, has listed $500m 8.5% Tier 1 capital notes, due 2022, on the Global Exchange Market (GEM) of the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE).

Mexican companies with debt listed on the ISE
Grupo Financiero Santander México joins other major Mexican companies which have listed bonds on the ISE’s markets including Pemex, the state-owned petroleum company, and Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE), the state-owned electrical utility company.
The ISE offers two markets for listing bonds, GEM and the Main Securities Market (MSM), and currently has over 29,000 debt securities listed.
