- The total value of trading on the Main Market was PLN 113.9 billion in H1 2015, and the value of trading on NewConnect was PLN 897.4 million.
- The value of bond issues listed on Catalyst was PLN 67.0 billion at the end of June 2015, an increase of 1.2% year on year.
- The total volume of trading in electricity was 12.4 TWh in June 2015, a decrease of 26.3% year on year.
- The volume of trading in property rights to certificates of origin increased by 53.9% year on year to 3.4 TWh in June 2015.
- The total volume of spot and forward trading in gas was 7.1 TWh in June 2015.
The value of trade on the Electronic Order Book in equities on the Main Market was PLN 16.2 billion in June 2015, an increase of 0.8% year on year. The average daily value of trade on the Electronic Order Book in June 2015 decreased by 4.0% year on year to PLN 772.8 million per session while the average daily number of transactions increased by 15.6% to 61.8 thousand. The total value of trade in equities on the Main Market was PLN 113.9 billion in H1 2015, a decrease of 3.2% year on year.
The total value of trading on NewConnect stood at PLN 97.1 million in June 2015, an increase of 3.5% year on year. The value of trade on the Electronic Order Book in equities on NewConnect increased by 43.1% year on year to PLN 95.6 million in June 2015. The value of trade on the Electronic Order Book in equities increased by 61.3% year on year to PLN 839.3 million in H1 2015.
The volume of trading in index futures was 488.0 thousand contracts in June 2015. 20 June 2014 was the last trading day of WIG20 futures contracts with a multiplier of PLN 10. Only WIG20 futures contracts with a multiplier of PLN 20 are in trading as of 23 June 2014. For data comparability, the historical volume of trading in WIG20 futures with a multiplier of PLN 10 (before 23 June 2014) was divided by 2 in the index contract line of the table attached to the press release. After the correction, the volume of trading in index futures increased by 19.9% year on year in June 2015.
The volume of trading in other futures (single-stock, currency, interest rate futures) was 332.6 thousand contracts in June 2015, an increase of 7.2% year on year.
The value of bond issues listed on Catalyst was PLN 67.0 billion at the end of June 2015, an increase of 1.2% year on year.
The total value of transactions on TBSP decreased by 32.2% year on year to PLN 50.9 billion in June 2015.
The volume of forward transactions in electricity was 10.6 TWh in June 2015, a decrease of 29.3% year on year. The volume of spot transactions decreased modestly by 0.4% year on year to 1.7 TWh in June 2015. The total volume of trade in electricity increased by 5.4% year on year to 89.6 TWh in H1 2015.
The volume of trading in property rights to certificates of origin increased by 53.9% year on year to 3.4 TWh in June 2015.
The total volume of spot and forward transactions in gas was 7.1 TWh in June 2015, compared to 2.3 TWh in June 2014.
The capitalisation of 422 domestic companies listed on the Main Market was PLN 605.2 billion (EUR 144.3 billion) at the end of June 2015. The market capitalisation was PLN 607.2 billion (PLN 145.9 billion) at the end of June 2014.
The total capitalisation of 474 domestic and foreign companies listed on the GPW Main Market was PLN 1,287.7 billion (EUR 307.0 billion) at the end of June 2015. The total capitalisation was PLN 905.6 billion (EUR 217.6 billion) at the end of June 2014.
The companies Atal and Braster were newly listed on the GPW Main Market in June 2015. The total value of the new listings was PLN 182 million in June 2015.
The companies Cenospheres Trade & Engineering and Infra were newly listed on NewConnect in June 2015. The total value of the offerings was PLN 3.9 million in June 2015.
Bonds of the companies Capital Service and Chemoservis were newly listed on Catalyst in June 2015. The value of the issues was PLN 17.9 million.
GPW held 21 trading sessions in June 2015, one more than in June 2014.
