The total value of trade in equities on the GPW Main Market was PLN 22 billion in November 2017, representing an increase of 17.8% year on year. The value of trade in equities on the Electronic Order Book increased by 18.7% year on year to PLN 21.4 billion and the average daily value of trade in equities on the Electronic Order Book stood at PLN 1,017 million in November 2017, an increase of 13% year on year. The WIG index stood at 62,440.31 points at the end of November 2017, representing an increase of 28.4% year on year.
The total value of trade in equities on NewConnect decreased by 7.6% year on year. The value of trade in equities on the Electronic Order Book on the GPW alternative market was PLN 82 million, a decrease of 8.3% year on year. The incremental value of trade on the Electronic Order Book on NewConnect was PLN 1.3 billion year to date, representing an increase of 14.1% year on year.
The total volume of trade in derivatives was 578.3 thousand contracts in November 2017, representing a decrease of 14.7% year on year. The volume of trade in index futures was 334.5 thousand contracts in November 2017, representing a decrease of 4.1% year on year.
The value of non-Treasury bond issues listed on Catalyst was PLN 93.9 billion at the end of November 2017 compared to PLN 80.6 billion at the end of November 2016. The value of trade in non-Treasury bonds on the Electronic Order Book on Catalyst decreased by 13% year on year to PLN 192.4 million in November 2017.
The total value of trade in bonds on TBSP was PLN 48.8 billion in November 2017, representing a decrease of 0.7% year on year.
The total volume of spot and forward transactions in electricity was 10.7 TWh in November 2017, representing an increase of 8.8% year on year. The volume of forward transactions in electricity increased by 16.3% year on year to 8.6 TWh in November 2017.
The total volume of transactions in natural gas was 14.7 TWh in November 2017, representing a decrease of 7% year on year. The volume of trade on the forward market increased by 2.1% and stood at 12.5 TWh.
The volume of spot and forward transactions in property rights to certificates of origin excluding the rights to certificates of energy efficiency (“white certificates”)[3] was 3.8 TWh in November 2017, representing an increase of 13.4% year on year. The volume of trade in property rights to certificates of origin of energy efficiency (“white certificates”) was 50.7 ktoe[4] in November 2017 compared to 55.3 ktoe in November 2016.
The capitalisation of 427 domestic companies listed on the Main Market was PLN 654.42 billion (EUR 155.61 billion) at the end of November 2017. The total capitalisation of 477 domestic and foreign companies listed on the GPW Main Market was PLN 1,390.11 billion (EUR 330.55 billion) at the end of November 2017.
The company Venture INC was newly listed on the Main Market in November 2017. The value of its IPO was PLN 30 million.
The companies Gremi Media, Cambridge Chocolate Technologies and Cherrypick Games were newly listed on NewConnect in November 2017. The total value of their IPOs was PLN 65 million.
Bonds of the City of Płock and bonds of the company Statima were newly listed on Catalyst in November 2017. The total value of the bonds was PLN 61.7 million.
GPW held 21 trading sessions in November 2017, one more than in November 2016.
