Invest Australia would like to advise you that as a result of the recent change in Government, Invest Australia has been rebranded to form the Investment Promotion Division of the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.
As the Investment Promotion Division, we will maintain responsibility for the Government's overseas network of investment commissioners and staff and will continue to liaise with you from our Australian offices in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
It is business as usual for our financial services team (previously known as Axiss Australia), which seeks to position Australia as a global financial services centre in the Asian time zone. Our team helps financial services institutions establish and expand their activities in Australia. Free services provided include:
- connecting you with industry and government investment contacts
- providing information on investment regulations and project approval processes
- providing advice on government programs that may be applicable
- providing information on the business environment.
