Indice General De La Bolsa De Madrid (IGBM) Index New Composition For First Half 2007

The Indice General de la Bolsa de Madrid (IGBM) Management Committee has decided, in accordance with technical provisions for the composition, calculation and sectorial division of the IGBM index family, to approve the composition of the IGBM and Indice Total indices for the first half of 2007.

Based on trading volume and market capitalisation criteria, the new composition of the IGBM is as follows: the index is to add 8 stocks while 5 will be excluded from the index. The IGBM and Indice Total will comprise 125 shares during the first half of 2007.

The index inclusions and exclusions are as follows:

STOCKS INCLUDED IN THE INDEX
  • Mittal Steel, admitted to trading on 27 July 2006.
  • Vocento, admitted to trading on 8 November 2006.
  • Vueling, admitted to trading on 1 December 2006.
  • Riofisa, admitted to trading on 19 July 2006.
  • Bolsas y Mercados Españoles, admitted to trading on 14 July 2006.
  • Banco de Galicia, having met listing requirements.
  • Banco de Vasconia, having met listing requirements.
  • Banco de Crédito Balear, having met listing requirements.
STOCKS EXCLUDED FROM THE INDEX
  • Hullas del Coto Cortés: delisting approval expected at EGM on 28 December 2006
  • Tafisa: delisting approval expected
  • Telepizza: delisting approved at EGM on 24 October 2006
  • Arcelor: not having met listing requirements.
  • Sotogrande: not having met listing requirements.

Definitive weightings of sectors, subsectors and stocks will be made public on the Bolsa de Madrid website, (www.bolsamadrid.es), after the closing of the market, on 29 December 2006.
