Iceland Stock Exchange Three Minutes Of Silence Today 5 January At 12:00 noon

To honour the victims of the tsunami disaster in South East Asia on 26 December, the Iceland Stock Exchange observed three minutes of reflection and remembrance at 12:00 noon. The trading system was not be closed; however, we asked all ICEX member to respect the three minutes of silence.

The call for three minutes of silence came from the European Union and was supported by all the exchanges in the NOREX Alliance and other European exchanges.
