ICE Futures Europe Sets Daily Volume Record

IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading global exchange operator and over-the-counter (OTC) energy marketplace, announced today that its European futures business, ICE Futures Europe, posted an exchange-wide daily volume record for futures and options contracts on Tuesday, November 13. The new record of 858,604 contracts surpassed the previous record of 847,892 contracts set on January 11, 2007. Also yesterday, the ICE WTI Crude futures contract recorded its second highest daily volume total of 358,112 contracts.
