The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) will start providing consultation service to listed corporations from 1 December 2012 on application of provisions of the statutory disclosure regime.
Under the regime, which will come into operation on 1 January 2013, listed corporations are required to disclose inside information to the public in a timely manner. The SFC’s Guidelines on Disclosure of Inside Information will take effect on the same day (Notes 1 and 2).
