Hong Kong Securities And Futures Commission And People’s Bank Of China Top Management Met In Beijing

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the People’s Bank of China (PBoC) held a high-level meeting in Beijing today.

The SFC’s Chairman, Mr Tim Lui, its Chief Executive Officer, Ms Julia Leung and Executive Director of the Supervision of Markets Division, Mr Rico Leung met with the PBoC’s Governor, Mr Yi Gang and Deputy Governor Mr Xuan Changneng at the PBoC’s office.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on a range of issues including financial cooperation between the Mainland and Hong Kong, Renminbi internationalisation, and the development of Hong Kong as an international financial centre.
