Hong Kong Securities And Futures Commission And China Securities Regulatory Commission Top Management Met In Beijing

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) held a high-level meeting in Beijing yesterday.

The SFC’s Chairman, Mr Tim Lui and its Chief Executive Officer, Ms Julia Leung met with the CSRC’s Chairman, Mr Yi Huiman at the CSRC’s office.  The visit was also the first by Ms Leung as CEO since she assumed the role in January this year.    

During the meeting, both sides took stock of the recent achievements of cooperation between the Mainland and Hong Kong capital markets and exchanged views on recent developments of each other’s markets.

The two regulators also agreed to further deepen cooperation and promote the coordinated development of the two capital markets.
