Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) welcomes the Government’s re-appointments of Professor Chan Ngai-hang and Michael Liu Swee-long as members of HKEx’s Risk Management Committee (RMC). The appointment, made under the Securities and Futures Ordinance, is for a term of two years with effect from 1 July 2013.
Professor Chan is a professor of statistics and the chairman of the Department of Statistics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong; Mr Liu is a partner at Latham & Watkins, an international law firm.
From 1 July 2013, RMC members will comprise:
