Hellenic Exchanges Announcement - Cessation Of Clearing And Settlement Of Transactions In The Cash And Derivatives Markets

Following the resolution (8359) of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Exchanges regarding the cessation of the clearing and settlement of transactions in the cash and derivatives markets of ATHEX, until such time as the Bank of Greece is able to perform the cash settlement of transactions, the ATHEX Chairman, after taking into consideration the serious dangers to the smooth functioning of the market, decided that today's trading session be cancelled, in order to protect investors and ensure the smooth functioning of the market.

It should be noted that the Cyprus Stock Exchange will operate as normal.
