Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) Sub-Industry Changes in the S&P European Indices

As announced on 17 December 2007, the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) annual structural review will be implemented after the close of business on Friday 29 August 2008. Details of the restructure are available at Standard & Poor’s website www.gics.standardandpoors.com

Following the annual structural review, Standard & Poor’s will revise the GICS sub-industry classification for the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus and S&P United Kingdom index constituents listed below:
