FTSE Russell, the global index provider, and The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), has recently announced that Berli Jucker pcl (BJC) will be added to the FTSE SET Large Cap Index following the December 2016 semi-annual review of the FTSE-SET Index Series.
The index series is reviewed semi-annually in accordance with the index ground rules.
As a result of this review, Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services pcl (BAFS), BCPG pcl (BCPG), Siam City Cement pcl (SCCC) and Thaifoods Group pcl (TFG) will be added to the FTSE SET Mid Cap Index. In addition, to be included in the FTSE SET Shariah Index will be Asset Bright pcl (ABC), ALT Telecom pcl (ALT), Amata VN pcl (AMATAV), ASEFA pcl (ASEFA), Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services pcl (BAFS), The Bangchak Petroleum pcl (BCP), BTS Rail Mass Transit Growth Infrastructure Fund (BTSGIF), Seafresh Industry pcl (CFRESH), Golden Land Property Development pcl (GOLD), Polyplex (Thailand) pcl (PTL), The Siam Cement pcl (SCC), SVI pcl (SVI), Taokaenoi Food and Marketing pcl (TKN), Univentures pcl (UV) and Vinythai pcl (VNT).
All constituent changes will take effect at the start of the trading on December 19, 2016 and the next review is scheduled on June 1, 2017.
