On November 30, 2009 the trading volume record on FORTS, the derivatives market of RTS, was refreshed.
By the end of the main trading session the trading volume in futures and options on FORTS hit a record high of RUB129,395,698,925 (USD4,339,530,916; USD1=RUB29.8).
The previous record was set on December 13, 2007, when the derivatives trading volume on FORTS reached RUB126,763,561,676 (USD5,186,046,085; USD1=RUB24.4).
