FORTS: The Open Interest In The BRENT Futures Contract Exceeds USD25 Million

On June 9, 2009 a new record was set on FORTS, RTS’s derivatives section.

By the end of the main trading session the open interest in the BRENT futures contract had hit a record high of – 793,252,266 roubles or USD25,526,942.

The previous record open interest in this contract was generated on March 26, 2009, when it reached 704,486,094.84 roubles or USD20,888,020.65.
