On November 27, 2009 a new trading activity record was set in the currency section of FORTS, RTS derivatives market.
The market participants executed 28,010 trades in the USD/RUB futures for a total value of RUB11.735 billion or USD406.4 million.
The previous record number of trades in this contract was registered on August, 12, 2009, when the market participants made 17,093 trades. Last time the USD/RUB futures contract traded a record value on July 10, 2009 – RUB11.265 billion or USD353.2 million.
