First North American Company Joins Alternext

Alternext, the Euronext market dedicated to small and mid-cap stocks, today welcomed its first North American business, Canada's H2O Innovation.

H2O Innovation, already listed in Canada, launched a EUR 6.5 million private placement, allowing it to join Alternext through direct listing.

This new listing, the third for a company from outside the Euronext zone after Italy’s Safwood and the UK's Assima, sets the number of companies on Alternext at 78 with market capitalization totalling EUR 3.7 billion.

H2O Innovation has specialized in the design, development and marketing of innovative technology for the production of drinking water and the treatment of waste water since 2000.
