NYSE Euronext (NYX) announced today that 14 financial websites and one TV channel have signed up to its new market data product, Real-time Reference Prices, since its launch last November. This new service enables Internet and media organizations to buy real-time share prices from NYSE Euronext’s European equity markets and provide it broadly and free of charge to the public.
The websites and media organizations, which include Boursier, Boursorama, FD Mediagroep, Oxane, Sharecompany, Surperformance and VWD Group, now offer their visitors the most up-to-date financial information in real-time, a service previously only available to subscribers of a vendor terminal or online broker account. The new market data service enables media outlets to provide useful data to investors, helping them make more informed investment decisions.
The new service has been adopted by many websites within a short time frame. Soon after the product’s launch, 11 financial media outlets in the Netherlands and Belgium subscribed and now another four from France have joined, giving French investors free access to the latest financial information from our markets. All of them publish prices from NYSE Euronext’s European cash markets in real-time on their websites.
