The exercise of options on the BOVESPA Index (Ibovespa) generated BRL 7.76 billion today, with 154,670 contracts traded. Of the volume exercised, BRL 5.56 billion was in call options and BRL 2.2 billion was in put options.
The Ibovespa index ended the session 0.58% higher at 50,895 points.
The contracts with the largest volumes were:
– Series at 50,000 points at BRL 1.49 billion in call options;
– Series at 47,000 points at BRL 1.29 billion in call options;
– Series at 51,000 points at BRL 1.02 billion in call options;
– Series at 48,000 points at BRL 775.68 million in call options;
– Series at 54,000 points at BRL 584.28 million in put options.
