Eurex Orderbook Information Available Now Via Vendors

Because of the strong market demand, Deutsche Börse will offer the orderbook information for dissemination by vendors, the so-called Level 2 Information, for futures traded within the Eurex® trading system starting 17th of January 2000. The Deutsche Börse enables vendors to disseminate not only the "Best Bid/Best Ask" information (Level 1) but also the following four best Bid and ask prices of Eurex® traded futures including the corresponding turnover to their customers. Within the professional trading segment this information forms part of the basis market data that is needed for order decisions. It helps to analyse market dynamics as well as the actual liquidity of the market and will be available to the public from now on. The Level 2 Information will be provided for Eurex® futures according to the following list whereas the two actual maturities will be available for each contract: Swiss Federal Government Bond; DAX Index; DJ Euro STOXX 50; FOX (Finnish Stock Index); Euro Bund; Euro BOBL; Euro Schatz; DJ Nordic STOXX; SMI Index; DJ STOXX 50. The Deutsche Börse AG will offer the Level 2 information free of charge starting 13th of January until 31st of March 2000.
