Standard & Poor’s will make the following change in the S&P Latin America 40 Index effective after the close of trading on Thursday, January 31, 2008:

• Endesa - Chile (Chile, Sedol: 2299356) GICS (Global Industry Classification) will be revise from 55101010 Electric Utilities to 55105010 Independent Power Producers & Energy Traders.
