As The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) is working on stimulating institutional and foreign investment as well as increasing transparency and disclosure quality of listed companies to improve and stabilize the capital market, EGX is working to enable foreign investors to obtain information simultaneously as it is disseminated in Arabic. This aims to ensure equal opportunity for foreign investors in accordance with the international financial markets norms and standards
The Egyptian Exchange emphasizes the need of listed companies with annual revenues equal to or exceeding two billion Egyptian Pounds to provide EGX with all disclosures in both Arabic and English starting from August 3, 2023, while working to prepare their bilingual financial statements in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
This comes in compliance with Article 27 of the rules of listing and delisting securities, as amended by Decree No. 149 / 2022 issued by Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA).
