EGX Cooperates With The American Chamber Of Commerce In Egypt To Train Capital Market Employees On The Internal Audit Bases & Applications

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX)’ chairman, Mr. Mohamed Farid signed a joint cooperation agreement with Mr. Tarek Tawfik, Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo, to organize several training programs and workshops on the internal audit basics and applications related to auditing, supervision, risk hedging and governance requirements.
 
The diverse training process includes the capital market’ employees, such as the financial institutions, listed companies, brokerage companies and other institutions and companies related to the securities industry.
On the sidelines of the memorandum of cooperation’ signing ceremony, EGX chairman said, "The financial markets’ dynamics require us to continuously build and develop the human capital capabilities, Because it is important to deepen reforms and to increase the market competitiveness."
 
"EGX gives great attention to the issue of rehabilitating and developing the human capital and its capacity building, believing that it is the only way to build efficient and competitive capital markets that achieve sustainable economic growth," Farid stated.
 
Farid explained that the training courses in various fields will be regularly developed and updated to meet the changing needs of the securities industry’ employees.
 
Mr. Tarik Tawfik, chairman of the American Chamber of commerce said: "We look forward for further cooperation with EGX to provide the required training for the capital market cadres, as it is important to raise the efficiency, depth and competitiveness of Egypt as an advanced capital market."
 
Tawfik declared "We will always work with EGX to explore the needs of the capital market professionals from training to meet them, while working to enhance those training programs’ impact."
