In its capacity as the transitional common auction platform appointed by 25 Member States, EEX will conduct the EUA auctions on three days per week – each Monday, Tuesday and Thursday – from 11 January until 15 December 2016. EUAA auctions will be carried out on pre-determined Wednesdays, starting on 20 January 2016.

In its capacity as the auction platform appointed by the Federal Republic of Germany, EEX will conduct weekly EUA auctions on Fridays, starting on 15 January until 16 December 2016. One EUAA auction will be carried out on Wednesday, 13 April 2016.

Auctions for Poland

EEX will conduct EUA auctions for Poland on Wednesdays (four-weekly cycle), starting on 3 February until 7 December 2016. EUAAs will be auctioned on Wednesday, 17 February 2016. EEX conducts these auctions on a transitional basis in its capacity as the common auction platform pending the appointment by Poland of its ‘own’ auction platform.

All auctions will open the bidding window from 9.00 to 11.00 a.m. CET.
