After the success recorded by the two trackers EasyETF FTSE EPRA Europe and EasyETF FTSE EPRA Eurozone on listed real estate indexes, the EasyETF platform is expanding its offer in this sector with today's launch of EasyETF FTSE EPRA NAREIT Global. With over 770 million euros1 of assets under management, EasyETF now consolidates its ranking as leader for European ETFs on listed real estate, with a 63 % market share2. EasyETF FTSE EPRA NAREIT Global was introduced to date on NextTrack, the Euronext segment dedicated to trackers and active ETFs.
"To satisfy the growing demand from investors, we have chosen to extend our EasyETF platform and offer a wider range" states Mathieu Guignard, co-head of the EasyETF platform at AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM).
With close to 27 million euros1 in assets under management, EasyETF FTSE EPRA NAREIT Global is the first tracker to offer immediate exposure to the listed real estate sector internationally.
The fund aims to reproduce the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Global® index as closely as possible, so as to offer a performance comparable to that of the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Global® Price Return index, increased by net dividends capitalised at the EONIA rate between the previous closest ex-dividend date and the next ex-dividend date (Dividend given every term). This index is currently made up of 314 property values representative of listed real estate in 22 countries around the world. EasyETF FTSE EPRA NAREIT Global therefore makes it possible to invest, in a single transaction, in flagship values of the global real estate sector included within the index.
"EasyETF FTSE EPRA NAREIT Global offers a particularly appropriate solution for investors who are looking for diversification on the listed real estate market by means of an international index and the liquidity of the share market" adds Danièle Tohmé-Adet, co-head of the EasyETF platform at BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM).
The fund's index offers exposure on Europe of up to 23 %, and more particularly on North America of up to 42 % and on Asia Pacific of up to 35 %, including Japan for 13 %, Hong Kong for 10 % and Australia for 12 %. The index benefits from wide diversification across all real estate sectors (office space, commercial, residential, industrial, etc.)
"We are delighted that EasyETF is adding EasyETF FTSE EPRA NAREIT Global to its range of trackers on real estate indexes on Euronext, which is the only market today where this product is available. With this new tracker, 217 products are listed on Euronext to date, invested on 159 different underlying instruments. The NextTrack segment has been seeing exceptional growth since the beginning of the year with a doubling of its business activity and more than 300 million euros handled daily on these products" emphasised Thibaud de Cherisey, manager of the NextTrack segment, NYSE Euronext.
