Dutch finance minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem, Speaking on Dutch RTL television, said that British financial institutions’ access to the European Union’s internal market will be impacted after the UK leaves the European Union. According to Dijsselbloem limited access to the internal market was the “price” of the UK leaving the EU, and that rival financial centres like Amsterdam and Frankfurt would benefit.
