Dick Theunissen Joins Equinix As Vice President Of Marketing For Europe

Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), a provider of global data center services, today announced that Dick Theunissen has joined the company as its Vice President of Marketing for Europe.  Theunissen joins Equinix from Santiva Europe, a consultancy that helps technology firms enter international markets, where he was a Partner. 

Theunissen brings to Equinix more than 15 years’ experience of business development and strategic marketing in the telecommunications and hosting industry. Prior to Santiva Europe, Theunissen was Chief Marketing Officer at colocation provider, Interxion; and he was President of Amen International, a European webhosting company. Theunissen also held senior leadership positions at VIA NET.WORKS, KPNQwest and KPN.

Theunissen will spearhead Equinix marketing in Europe, focusing on how organizations in the region can rely on Equinix’s global platform of high performance International Business Exchange™ (IBX®) data centers and services to expand geographic reach and improve application performance.
