On the basis of this data, a decision will be made on Wednesday regarding changes in the SDAX and NEMAX 50 indices, which will then be implemented as of June 24. For the first time, Deutsche Börse is using only the shares in free float for the calculation of market capitalization.
The capitalization of the companies in the ranking is based on the relevant figure on the closing date of 30 April 2002. The turnover figures in euros are based on the order-book turnover from 01 May 2001 to 30 April 2002. For companies whose shares were admitted for trading in the course of this period, the turnover has been extrapolated.
