Deutsche Börse’s cash markets generated a turnover of €146.23 billion in October (previous year: €108.00 billion / previous month: €138.08 billion)
€141.05 billion were attributable to Xetra (previous year: €104.28 billion / previous month: €133.95 billion), bringing the average daily Xetra trading volume to €6.13 billion (previous year: €4.53 billion / previous month: €6.09 billion). Trading volumes on Börse Frankfurt were €5.18 billion (previous year: €3.72 billion / previous month: €4.13 billion).
By type of asset class, equities accounted for €107.56 billion in the entire cash market. Trading in ETFs/ETCs/ETNs generated a turnover of €36.34 billion. Turnover in bonds was €0.85 billion, in certificates €1.43 billion and in funds €0.06 billion.
The DAX stock with the highest turnover on Xetra in October was Rheinmetall AG with €8.51 billion. Renk Group AG led the MDAX with €1.34 billion, while Salzgitter AG led the SDAX index with €256.44 million. In the ETF segment iShares Core MSCI World UCITS ETF generated the largest volume with €901.359 million.
