Dalian Commodity Exchange Held Futures Training Class In Beijing

Date 18/10/2010

The Dalian Commodity Exchange held its 2010 Futures Training Class in Beijing on October 13th. Experts from the DCE came to offer explanations of trading, delivery, clearing, risk management, market supervision and other business rules and processes. Nearly 200 people representing member firms based in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi and NE China participated in the training.

A spokesperson from the DCE said that member firms' business has developed rapidly in recent years. The number of employees in the industry has expanded, but employee mobility has also increased. Given these circumstances, at the same time the DCE conducts its futures analyst training, it also aims to strengthen member firm back-office employee training with a focus on business rules, systems and risk management.

Aside from futures companies, this year's training class also attracted a number of industry enterprises and individual investors. The DCE will also hold training classes in Changsha, Shenzhen and Shanghai; over 500 people have already signed up to participate in these three classes.
