On November 15, jointly sponsored by Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) and Bursa Malaysia, the “12th China International Oils and Oilseeds Conference (CIOC)” was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Wang Fenghai, CEO of DCE, said in his speech that with the oils and oilseeds futures products well developed and the futures and physicals closely integrated, DCE has basically established a multi-level hedging system including futures and options as well as the floor and OTC markets. DCE will step up reform and innovation, support the supply-side structural reform in agriculture, continue to deepen the cooperation with the bourses along “ the Belt and Road” including Bursa Malaysia, and provide development platforms for all participants in “ the Belt and Road” market.
It is learnt that the CIOC was launched in 2006, and with the strong support provided by all parties concerned during its 12 years of development, it has evolved into the most famous and influential industry event in China for oils and oilseeds and other related industries.
