Dalian Commodity Exchange Adjustments To Delivery Warehouses For Some Products

Date 31/01/2011

The Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) announced on January 28 some adjustments to delivery warehouses for No. 1 soybeans, corn, soybean meal, soybean oil and RBD palm olein. The adjustments are as follows: one additional designated delivery warehouse will be added, one additional backup delivery warehouse will be added, seven designated delivery warehouses will have their statuses changed to backup delivery warehouses, and at the same time the qualifications of 12 designated delivery warehouses that have not provided delivery services or which have capacity too small to meet the delivery requirements will be cancelled.

According to a person in charge at the DCE, the adjustments will not affect total storage capacity and will be able to fully meet the delivery service requirements; they have also further improved delivery warehouses' overall level of qualifications.
