Component Changes Made To STOXX Balkan 50 Equal-Weighted, STOXX Strong Style And STOXX Europe TMI Style Indices

STOXX Limited, a global index provider and creator of the leading European equity indices, today announced the results of the regular annual review of the STOXX Balkan 50 Equal-Weighted and STOXX Strong Style indices, as well as those of the semi-annual review of the STOXX Europe TMI Growth and STOXX Europe TMI Value indices. All changes will be effective on September 20, 2010.

The following stocks will be added to and deleted from the STOXX Balkan 50 Equal-Weighted Index:

As of August 31, 2009 the total free-float market capitalization of the STOXX Balkan 50 Equal Weighted Index is € 63.797 billion.

STOXX Ltd. also announces the result of the semi-annual review of STOXX Europe TMI Growth and STOXX Europe TMI Value indices, their respective large, mid and small sub-indices, as well as the respective indices for the Euro zone.

The STOXX Europe Style Indices include three categories: growth, value and neutral. Effective with the opening of European markets on September 20, 2010 the number of components in the STOXX Europe TMI Growth Index will increase to 371 from previously 314 components, and the number of components in the STOXX Europe TMI Value Index will increase to 354 from 316 components.

The three largest components as measured by free-float market capitalization that will be entering and exiting the STOXX Europe TMI Growth Index are:

The three largest components - measured by free-float market capitalization - that will be added to and deleted from the STOXX Europe TMI Value Index are:

Reasons for component changes in STOXX Europe Growth and Value indices can be the change of style characteristics of an index component from growth to value or vice versa as well as addition of a component stock as the result of the stocks’ Initial Public Offering (IPO).

Furthermore, the composition of the STOXX Strong Style Indices has been changed to the regular annual review. The new composition of the indices will be published on www.stoxx.com with the open of European markets on September 20, 2010 when the changes become effective.

Changes in the STOXX Balkan 50 Equal-Weighted, STOXX Strong Style, STOXX Europe TMI Growth and STOXX Europe TMI Value indices, their respective large, mid- and small sub-indices as well as the respective indices for the Euro zone, are being announced today after the conclusion of a regular annual and semi-annual component review, respectively.

The underlying component data– new numbers of shares and free-float factors – for all indices will be announced on September 12, 2010, after the close of European markets. All changes will be effective as of the open of markets on September 20, 2010.
