Collaborative Test For Dalian Commodity Exchange Options Market Maker Mock Trading Sees Good Start In 1st Week

Till March 27, Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) has conducted the collaborative test for market maker mock trading of soybean meal options (the collaborative test for short) for nearly a week. The operation ran smoothly with brisk trading, investors and market makers  have been showing high enthusiasm.
 
The options mock trading in the first week witnessed a total of 28,268,800 contracts, among which 18,516,400 (65.50%) were call options and 9,752,500 (34.50%) were put options. The call options were more active than the put options, which met the market’s expectation to a bullish soymeal option market. In the first week, a total of 7,469 clients participated in the trading, including 122 unit clients (including market makers) and 7,347 individual clients.
 
The market makers traded a total of 14,357,900 contracts in the first week, accounting for 50.79% of total mock trading volume.
