CFTC Applauds Senate Confirmation Of Nominees

Today, Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Acting Chairman Walter Lukken and Commissioner Michael Dunn made the following joint statement on the U.S. Senate confirmation of Presidential nominees Jill Sommers and Bart Chilton as CFTC Commissioners:

“We are grateful for the Senate’s confirmation of Presidential nominees Jill Sommers and Bart Chilton as CFTC Commissioners. We look forward to their official arrival at the CFTC in the coming days.

The addition of our two new colleagues is critical to the CFTC, especially given the talent each brings.
