CESR Comments To The IASCF On The First Part Of The Review Of The Constitution On Strengthening The European Contribution To The International Standard Setting Process

CESR published today its response to International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation (IASCF) regarding the first part of the review of the Constitution. In its comment letter, CESR expresses support for the creation of a Monitoring Group for the Trustees of IASB. CESR has though strong concerns regarding the composition of the Monitoring Group as CESR is of the view that it is essential to ensure the adequate representation of the interests of the EU securities supervisors in the Monitoring Group.
