CBOT 5-Year Note Volume Sets Record On a/c/e System

Chicago Board of Trade 5-Year U.S. Treasury note futures set a new volume record at 50,901 contracts on the a/c/e electronic trading platform on July 26, 2001, exceeding the previous high of 46,455 set on June 28, 2001.

In addition, Corn futures on a/c/e set a new high at 6,929 contracts on July 26, topping the previous peak of 5,497 set on July 13.
