CBOE Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBOE) today announced that its Board of Directors has raised the company's quarterly dividend to $0.18 per share from $0.15 per share, an increase of 20 percent.
The dividend increase is effective with the third quarter dividend, payable on September 20, 2013, to stockholders of record at the close of business on August 30, 2013.
"We are pleased to announce a 20-percent increase in CBOE Holdings' cash dividend. This is the third consecutive year in which we increased our dividend since our IPO in 2010, highlighting our company's solid financial position and our ability to consistently deliver long-term stockholder value," said CBOE Holdings CEOEdward T. Tilly. "Our strong balance sheet and positive cash flow enable us to continue to pursue strategic growth initiatives and to return excess cash to stockholders."
