CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE) Experiences The Busiest Day In Its History

The CBOE Futures Exchange, LLC (CFE) announced that the Exchange set a new single-day trading record on Thursday, July 26, as volume totaled 13,553 contracts traded.Today's new record, the busiest day in CFE's three-year history, exceeded the previous high of 12,351 contracts traded on May 10, 2007.

CFE currently offers futures on seven different contracts, including: the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX), CBOE S&P 500 3-Month and 12-Month Variance (VT and VA, respectively), CBOE DJIA Volatility Index (VXD), CBOE NASDAQ-100 Volatility Index (VXN), CBOE Russell 2000 Volatility Index (RVX), and the CBOE S&P 500 BuyWrite Index (BXM).
