Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (“ADX”) alerts the public and its stakeholders to remain vigilant against fraud and scam attempts. These include fraudsters potentially posing as ADX officials, representatives of ADX’s management team, and/or as ADX-associated entities via email, website or social media channels, telephone calls etc, to perpetrate a fraud on unsuspecting members of the public or our stakeholders.
We urge the public and stakeholders to be extremely cautious of such behavior and report potential fraudulent scams, suspicious emails and phishing attempts using false ADX identity (e.g. logo, brand, name, signatures, marketing material, invoices, members of the ADX management team etc) to the relevant authorities in the United Arab Emirates or to your home country regulator.
Please note that:
- You should not respond to any unusual/suspicious communication or correspondence
- You should not enter into any agreement with unlicensed entities
- ADX does not solicit investments from the general public
- ADX does not directly solicit personal or financial information
- ADX would like to notify investor community to deal only with the licensed entities.
It has been brought to ADX’s attention that false materials that have been created by fraudsters by obtaining illicitly copied copyright and trademark protected materials from
ADX’s official website and announcements. The public and stakeholders should be wary and exercise caution against such fraudulent activities.
ADX advises the public not to respond to any person or company who purports to be or represent ADX and under no circumstances should you divulge your person information and/or transfer funds to unknown individuals.
If you are in doubt about the legitimacy of a particular correspondence, please contact ADX at compliance@adx.ae who will assist you. For any suspected illegal and/fraudulent activity, please report it to the police and/or the relevant authorities with urgency.
