He will report to Teri Bennett, Assistant Executive Officer for CalPERS Information Technology Services Branch.
“Terry has been a leader in the information technology services field working on some of the State’s largest technology projects,” said Bennett. “I’m confident that his experience will serve us well on this project and ensure that we build a faster, more reliable and more cost effective system for our members and employers.”
Bridges currently serves as Chief of CalPERS Innovation Services Division – an organization that oversees information technology architecture, governance, project management, engineering, and data and security administration for CalPERS programs.
Prior to joining CalPERS last year, Bridges spent the majority of his career at the State Controller’s Office, rising through the ranks to assume a number of information technology management positions.
